You can make this handcrafted card if you are in need of a creative idea for a thank you card, an appreciation card, a birthday card, Just because, you name it. This is a classy as well as adaptable card. Just pick an appropriate sentiment. The Heartfelt digital stamp set features two digital stamp sentiments for you to choose from:

The Flower Digital Stamp
Step 1: Resize The Digital Stamp
resize and crop the flower digital stamp to fit the sentiment to fit within a 3.25" x 4.25" box.
I used Microsoft Word to accomplish this.
See Buddy craft's blog post for instructions on cropping and resizing digital stamps in word.
Step 2: Print Out The Stamp
Print out the stamp on white card stock watercolor paper. If using 8.5" x 11" paper, load up your paper with as many digital stamps as you can before printing. This way you get the most mileage out of your paper. Then, cut and color stamps as you need them.
Step 3: Color the digital stamp
For the petals: mix red watercolor paint. Paint over the petals with a thin wash leaving the center of the flower untouched. Let this paint dry.
Go over the petals again with a second wash of red paint leaving some parts of the petals untouched. Let this second wash dry.
Go over the petals with a third wash
For the center of the flower: use yellow paint mixed with a hint of orange paint.
For the leaves: use green watercolor paint mixed with a bit of yellow to them. Go over the leaves once, let them dry a bit then go over some parts of the leaves again to add some depth.
For the background: use blue watercolors to paint the area around the flower.
Assembling the card
Step 1: Make your own folding card
Making the side folding card base:
Cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of card stock in half the long way to get two pieces of card stock measuring 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”
score at 4-1/4” and then fold to make your top side card base.
Step 2 : Cut the other elements
Cut black card stock to 3.75" x 5.25"
Step 3: Putting in all together
Center and adhere the black stock to the A2 card base, this reveals a 1/4 inch border all around.
Trim the image panel to 3.125" x 4.25"
center and adhere this to the card.
As you can see in the image above, this creates an assymetrical border.
That's it you're done.
Here is another look at the finished card.
